When a hurricane, tornado, wildfire or flood hits, the first thing a neighborhood needs — before rebuilding, before insurance, before anything — is a way to move the debris out. Downed trees, soaked drywall, ruined furniture and shattered building materials pile up on curbs and driveways, and every day they sit there is another day families can't start recovering.

That's why All In One Waste organizes volunteer cleanup drives after major storms across the Southeast. We coordinate roll-off dumpsters at no cost for affected homeowners, partner with local churches and community centers, and put boots on the ground alongside residents to haul out what the storm left behind.

Our volunteers aren't just staff. Neighbors, contractors we work with, and community members sign up to spend a weekend clearing streets and helping elderly or uninsured families who otherwise have no way to move heavy debris. It's slow, physical work — but it's the fastest path back to normal for the people we serve.

Every year, millions of pounds of plastic and household waste end up in lakes, rivers and oceans. All In One Waste sponsors and joins volunteer water cleanups locally in Georgia — the Chattahoochee River, Lake Lanier and neighborhood creeks — and supports international beach and coastal cleanup drives worldwide. We donate hauling, sorting and recycling services so that everything volunteers collect is disposed of responsibly and as much as possible is diverted from landfill.

Volunteers spend a morning walking a shoreline with gloves and bags, sorting recyclables from trash, and logging what they find so environmental groups can push for better policy upstream. It's a small commitment that leaves a place visibly better by lunchtime.
